Meet Armando Corrales, Owner and Founder

Lynchburg Movers was founded by Armando Corrales, a Lynchburg local, Liberty University alumnus and one of the most genuinely community-minded people you will ever do business with. Armando built this company from the ground up in 2014 with one straightforward goal: to give the people of Central Virginia a moving company they could actually trust.

Before launching Lynchburg Movers, Armando worked in web design, a field that sharpened his instinct for precision, clear communication and delivering results that work for real people. Those same qualities define the way he runs his moving company today. When Armando takes on your move, it gets done right. No shortcuts, no surprises, no excuses.

A Passionate Community Leader

If you know Lynchburg, there is a good chance you already know Armando Corrales. Not just as a mover, but as a genuine fixture in the local community. In addition to running Lynchburg Movers, Armando founded Armando's Warehouse, an indoor futsal sports complex off Leesville Road in Lynchburg. The facility features two indoor fields where local athletes can train year-round, regardless of the weather.

What makes the story of Armando's Warehouse particularly remarkable is how it came to be. Armando found the facility on Facebook while it was still located in South Carolina, then single-handedly arranged to have it transported back to Lynchburg piece by piece. That kind of determination is not something you switch off when you leave the sports complex. It is the same energy he brings to every move his company carries out.

Armando's complex was featured on WSET ABC 13 News in 2020, where he spoke about his passion for futsal, the small-sided style of soccer that develops elite ball control and technical skill. As a father of four and a dedicated youth soccer coach, he believes deeply in giving young Lynchburg athletes the tools to develop their abilities year-round.

"The more touches you get on the ball, the better you're going to get," Armando told WSET. "When you play outdoor you might touch the ball 15 or 20 times. If you play in a small space like this you're going to touch it a hundred times."

That philosophy, more effort, more repetition, better results, applies equally to the way he runs Lynchburg Movers.

Why Armando Started Lynchburg Movers

Armando founded Lynchburg Movers in 2014 because he saw a clear gap in the local market. Too many moving companies in Central Virginia were giving vague estimates, arriving unprepared and treating customers as just another job on the schedule. He built this company on the opposite principle: transparent pricing, thorough preparation, genuine accountability and a team that takes real pride in the work they do.

More than a decade later, that principle has not changed. We are still the same family owned business we were in 2014, still rooted right here in Lynchburg, still approaching every move the same way, with honesty, care and an absolute commitment to getting it right.

What started as a Central Virginia moving company has grown into something considerably broader.
